With the likely April 26 release date looming, the spoilers are still coming thick and fast. Today we have three more card reveals, which brings the total so far to forty nine.
Hammer of Twilight follows up as a Shaman weapon that impacts the board significantly after it runs out of charges. The weapon seems reasonable, and will give a tempo gain when it leaves the board, but a 4/2 minion at that stage of the game is often not difficult to deal with. It feels that this card might be playable in the right deck.
Druid cards are very hard to evaluate at the moment as we know there are going to be multiple to Druid class cards. This card however seems to have two very good options, and versatility always adds some extra value. My instinct is that this will be included in whatever Druid looks like after Whispers of the Old Gods is released. It will definitely see a lot of testing.Blood of The Ancient One is a fun build-around card for casual players. It might be that there are better ways than to copy it at some point in the future, but the feeling remains that if you can get two 9-drop minions to stick in play, you don't really need a 30/30 anyway. If it was easy to get that kind of board, someone would already be doing it. That being said, it is fun to know that there is now a way to do 30 damage with one minion without buffs.Thing From Below, Master of Evolution, and Vilefin Inquisitor The Entourage of Y'Shaarj: .Steward of Darkshire, Cabalist's Tome, and Skeram Cultist: .Mark of Y'Shaarj, Shadow Word: Horror, and Scaled Nightmare: .Ragnaros Lightlord, Mukla Tyrant of the Vale, and Cult Apothecary: .Boogeymonster, Renounce Darkness, Xaril, Infest: .
