The next big Xbox One update will be available to preview members possibly in May or June. You should be able to test out Microsoft’s new features before anyone else can.
Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra tweeted: “Win10 Anniversary Update announced at //build will have key gaming features, so next Xbox system update goes to preview end May/early June. BTW, the team is always thankful for our Preview members and the amazing feedback they provide. So, thanks!!”
One of the features that Microsoft has teased is a background music feature for Xbox One. Phil Spencer estimated that this should be ready by the Summer, so hopefully it will be ready by then.
More features for both Xbox One and Windows 10 will be announced by Microsoft at E3 2016. The company announced not too long ago that its press conference occurs on June 13th, 2016.
Major Xbox One updates have been popular as of late. Last November arguably came with one of the best features which was backwards compatibility. It’s been 2.5 years since the console came out in November 2013 and it’s great to see more features have been added over time.
